Thank You for some laughter in the rain
And for tears of joy mixed up with pain
For new life that follows death
Resurrection’s first fresh breath
Breathed on us out of clear sky
That makes dry bones surely sigh
See, flesh and skin from on high
Yes, His kingdom’s life is nigh
For all those who wait on Him
Previously worn out and dim
Now adorned with divine sheen
Gleaming through the vessel’s screen
Which was made of earthen clay
For a life of night and day
Ever-changing, never done
Until Life comes from the Son
Thank You for eternal life on earth
Given to us merely through new birth
To everyone who calls on You
Since thanks and praise are all Your due
Entering the Promised Land 
Yes thank you Father for your sweet love!

Yes, Susanne, I also know that feeling of being drawn out beyond measure.. to the point of despair and calling out to Him for help as He lets me feel the pain of the sufferings of others…

You’re welcome, dear Jacqui. Yes, God’s Spirit is prophetic and warns us of the things to come, not in order to make us afraid, but to show us that it is all His doing when we suddenly realise that we find ourselves in the midst of emotional chaos and directionlessness aka confusion. By the way, same here, my sister, I am in need of countless bottles as well…. deepest and cutting heart pains plus tears without end. I really would appreciate your prayers for me, too.

There is a “crook in the lot” for each of us. I had to look that up at first LOL as it is british slang however, we have heard “our lot in life” which would be whatever God is ordaining for this moment and the crook is that place of adversity which crosses our natural fleshly desires for our SELF. Paul called it his thorn in the flesh and everyone, no matter how sparkly and rich and sans trials a person’s life “seems”, they have a crook in their lot too, everyone does.
It has enriched me greatly to swallow hard and accept my pain and sufferings as being God’s highest for me as “my ways are not your ways”. To see this Great Divide between who He is and who we are – we’re so so different with so so different desires until we die that death, squirming and wiggling and kicking against the goads. TA Sparks called this The Otherness Of Christ. He is of another Kingdom and that is where we are going! The land of promise oh yes. But it is oh so foreign. So get ready and pack your bags!
Meanwhile, know that whatever you’re going through God says, This Thing is From Me. He knows what He is doing with us.

Very well said, my sister. In order to be more precise, God has spoken through your comment. Indeed, all of our suffering is from God – God-ordained pain, so to speak. That is what Job had realized when he said,
“Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.” (Job 2:21 ESV)
