lt is easy to write a blog post when you have learned a lesson and you have come through stronger on the other side of a situation that appeared to be hopeless before. But why should anyone share their struggles while still being stuck in a blind alley? Nonetheless, I do it now.
Before sitting down in front of my computer, I had no clue as to whether I would ever write and publish again, neither had I any idea about what to write at all. Hesitatingly, I had checked out my blog “Entering the Promised Land”. Jesus recently told me to delete those three drafts of blog posts I had started writing during the last six months. One might ask what has happened during this rather long period since February this year after I had published 
If God wants to show us something in particular, He will get us interested in that very topic. Not so much by yelling into our ears, 😉 rather, God will nudge us to delve into the issue concerned and to mull over it. By way of example, one specific thought comes back to our mind again and again, often times when we are right in the middle of doing something that has NOTHING to do with the thoughts God wants to share with us. Whether God speaks to us through Scriptures, through other people, through experience, or more directly through a dream or a vision is not important. It seems to me He uses the communication line which has been tailor-made for us individually.

Although I never read her book, I heard from a few readers of my blog how much they liked it as they shared part of its content with me in the past. Several Christians over the last centuries have had thoughts and ideas about who these particular people mentioned in the Book of Revelation might be. One might ask whether there could be a single Christian denomination or belief system that would be able to comprise those 144,000 who seem to occupy a very special position, maybe, even the best position possible as to their closeness to God? 🙄
None of us would expect a baby to test-drive a car, nor would anyone assume that children, on the whole, go to university, give guest lectures, and teach students lessons they really need to hear (exceptions confirm the rule). As much as this world admires geniuses, in spiritual life there is no shortcut to heaven. We have to go through every more or less painful lesson our Lord puts us through. However, we may know that every lesson learned and accepted makes us see more of Him in our lives.
