The Weakness of the Soul vs. The Power of the Spirit

In order to illustrate the contrasting pair I chose in this title, I will give you an example. Just think about someone who has been hurt deeply by another person. The pain they feel can neither be forgotten nor does it seem that it will ever be healed. Since we as human beings do not want to feel pain at all, we might choose different ways to protect ourselves in the future. Some people suppress all their negative feelings, others tend to talk about it often, and others again seek revenge up to a certain extent. There might be even more ways to deal with such suffering on a permanent level, yet none of these methods will ever set us free. Quite the contrary.

This afternoon I had a gripping vision which initially filled me with great joy. But later I got deeply sad. In order to spare you numerous details, I try to be as brief as possible and to rather point you to this excerpt from T. Austin-Sparks further below where he also described a personal experience. Reading what he had to undergo shed some light on what I saw and felt in the following vision.

This time I am going to share a short vision with you on here, though only further below. Nonetheless, this vision was so impressive that I was left with the fear of the Lord in my heart afterwards. For a better understanding I want to clarify again that beholding the Lord or God Himself cannot be compared with looking at a real photograph or with watching a movie or else with our natural eyes. When we look at a picture or at someone who is in front of us, as long as our eyes allow we can explore what we want to see, even in details. However, that is not the case in the spiritual realm.

In fact, walking in the Spirit can be enjoyable at times. Today I want to share my latest experiences with you on here. It was only yesterday on Valentine’s Day that God helped me see how much He even cares about the little things of our lives.

Torn to Pieces

Up to a certain extent, this post is a follow-on blog of The Cave Dweller. Not that you need to have read that other article before in order to understand where I am coming from. However, I had a follow-up vision of the area the cave dweller demon was working in. Somehow I hoped that I would not need to write it all down and to interpret it as I did not like what I saw. At all. 😔 But a few things happened lately which made me see that this vision has been another warning from God as to a specific kind of danger to be led astray by the enemy. Furthermore, this recent vision put such a heavy burden on my heart I could not get rid of until I had finished the interpretation and thus the whole article.

Before sharing another vision with you on here, I want to clarify that I have never been a person who was intrigued by “the dark realm”. For my whole life I have been running immediately when I was confronted with something that caused anxiety or fear. In other words, what I always avoided to see and hear had to do with violence and cruelty of any kind. Whenever I saw someone watching science fiction films, horror movies, or in case they were drawn to demonic stuff in general, I closed my eyes and ears to not let it in and went away as soon as possible. Since we live in a world that has been increasingly influenced by all those dark things, it is not easy to always withdraw immediately, in particular, when some dark thing jumps at you without premonition.

I need to admit that I usually feel a bit embarrassed before I share my visions publicly as they are often both personal and intimate revelations by Jesus Christ and sometimes by God, our Father. Therefore, I almost always need to drop several details that ought to remain private. It is much easier for me to publish another teaching I just learned from the Holy Spirit than to open up as for my whole life with God in the Spirit. Nonetheless, dear reader, I do want to take you a bit deeper into what life in the Spirit with God means for me. Maybe, it is different for you. But as for me, I can only share what I have experienced myself. Well, such ‘visions’ do not happen randomly without me being able to weigh in with my own impressions, whether right or wrong. Rather, it is like walking with Christ 24/7 and on this walk in the light, I tend to see and understand more and more of what He wants to reveal (note: that also happens in dreams). If I am too tired or too busy during the day, I can ask Him to please stop showing me another new thing in the heavenlies until I have recovered again. And it is not so, either, that once I have seen a vision, it would be over. No, this is not the case.

There is a new lesson for me to learn every day. It seems like walking in the spirit with Christ turns into full-time schooling, which is a great adventure anyway.  😊 The latest lesson learned refers to how the Prince of Peace wants to pour out His spiritual blessings of peace, joy, and love on us every day in every given situation. At first I had a vision a few days ago which is getting more and more interpreted by Jesus as I have gone through several experiences related to it. At the same time the Holy Spirit pointed me to some Scriptures and a quote by T. Austin-Sparks that confirmed the experiences made. The vision I am going to describe was, again, a part of a longer vision I had seen. What was completely new to me, though, was the experience that darkness did not cause any negative feelings like fear to arise in me anymore. Quite the contrary…
